Now we have all registrations in our timetaking software, assigned startnumbers and SportIdent e-cards and produced a startlist.

Adjustments of rules
Following was added under heading "General": "Full refund if the team can be replaced by a team in the queue list."
Following was added under heading "Compulsory personal equipment": "pad with balloons is not allowed"
Following was added under heading "Compulsory team equipment": "Only mosquito net in any part is not allowed"

Newsletter 2
From the contents of newsletter 2: teams in queue, BAMM 70 requires merits, no fjord for BAMM 30, only 250 t-shirts.

Registration limit reached!
Today we have confirmed some more teams and reached the registration limit. Since we could not determine the order between the teams, all was confirmed and therefor we now have a little more than 150 teams.Non Swedish teams that want to be on the queue list register as usual and pay in Björkliden.

Registration status
The registration status is at the moment unclear because only paying teams is registered and we have not recieved the latest updates on the payments. The number on the first page on Num. teams now shows confirmed teams and not, as earlier, all teams (non paying teams included).

Registration limit
We want to remind all that there are a registration limitation of 150 teams. There are now 100 registered teams.

Raise of registration fee May 1st
Beginning from May 1st the registration fee is raised, meaning that teams registered after last April must pay 1500 SEK in Björkliden (only teams that can not pay to PlusGiro).

Open Norwegian Championship in Ultralongdistance orienteering 2010
We want to tip those who like long run's in the forest about the open Norwegian Championship in Ultralongdistance orienteering. The event will take place on Saturday 28th of August 2010 in Sørreisa. More info here.

Soon time for start!
During the day the teams have checked in and eaten a lot of pasta. During the evening we had a race meeting.
Now we are doing the last preparations before the start tomorrow. Photos, results and some status updades can be found under BAMM Live.

Kraterrundan - a cross-country running race in beautiful surroundings
At August 11 it is premiere for Kraterrundan in Björkliden. It is a 8 km long running race in steep terrain. Start and finish is in Björkliden. Get more info from sporten[at]bjorkliden.com.

The world elite in BAMM! The winners of LAMM got the extra prize "a start in BAMM"
Andrew Symonds and Jethro Lennox won the 2009 edition of LAMM.
One of the prizes they got was a start in BAMM. There was a sough in the audience when the prize was given to the winners.
Both runners is in the absolute top elite in the world.
Androw will for sure come to Björkliden. Jethro is not sure due to another planned race.

Yesterday we sent out newsletter 2. It contains info about registration fees, Malmtåget and the BAMM t-shirt. The newsletters can be found in the archive 2009.

The website is updated and we have opened the registration for BAMM 2009.
Now are both we and the website ready for BAMM 2009. The concept is the same as earlier years and therefor there are only small adjustments in the information on the website. The date for the event is August 14-15. Register and start training for BAMM 2009!
